Thank you to Angie, for sending me, for no reason other than kindness.
a copy of the decorating book I had posted with a picture
as a Christmas Wish- signed, no less!

Thank you to Elizabeth, for sending me, for no other reason than kindness,
the amazing canopy that you see above,
one that was Sophie's, and is now, to her delight, Lola Moon

although she believes it's from Santa ;)

Both of you were Christmas Spirit
and made the day even lovelier than it was

Every time I see photos of christmas trees it seems like everyone has many more lights on them than we do. How come you have more lights than us?

Our livingroom is still a mess from the Christmas Morning Massacre...probably should work on that today.

I noticed that canopy right after the tree! Your tree is lovely.

Pretty pretty pretty!

Wishing you only good in 2010 and beyond...

I love your blog and have an award for you at mine. Happy New Year!

The secret to great Christmas tree lights is to begin layering inside the branches, closer to the trunk, and then layer lights again more toward the outside!! We used white lights and one strand of larger LED blue lights. I love lights!

There are truly angels among us. Hope your entire family had a most excellent holiday and are enjoying our new year in relaxation :-) We spent our holiday in your general neck of the woods and I really miss the warm weather and sunshine already!
