Love the pics! Thanks for sharing. I should really get around to posting some too. I really like your fireplace. Looks so warm and cozy!

Fire....that's what I need. I need to build a fire in the fireplace. It's so crazy cold here that no matter what you set the thermostat at, it still feels frigid.

Glorious! And Lola is an artist. Like her mama.

You guys are the cutest -- I know that sounds so smarmy, but it's true. Despite the intensity of your family's ups and downs, despite the intensity of life in general, light just shines out of your eyes.

Lovely pictures, Maggie. They scream Christmas in every way. ;-)

Happy New Year!

I love those!! I especially like the one with all the chilluns and the puppies! They all look like they are talking in doggie voice: "Who's the cutest puppy of all?? you are you are you are!!" heheh!

Mmm, the sequined mask and gingerbread house! And snoozing dog & stack of books by the fire. My kind of Christmas.

We made 4 gingerbread houses. Although they were all condemned and collapsed under the weight of thick white icing and gumdrops. The kids didn't mind though, neither did our tummies...

It looks like a wonderful Christmas. It's treat to get this behind the scenes view, to slip into someone else's lounge room and to share in the laughter.

I am with Elizabeth, the journey must be rough but the travelers are dear. And Lola is indeed as Ms Moon said, an artist. Genes, those pesky genes...

these pictures made me smile.

thank you.

and I'm obsessed with finding an owl ornament just like yours. did you get it recently?

What a lovely home and family. Looks like it was a great day.

Lora do you mean the owls on the tree? I have two heavyweight owls but I don't think they are in these pictures- they are on top of my bookshelf. The tree ornaments are from 1 my daughter for Christmas and 2 a friend of mine who I think got them at Target? i love owls. i got my heavyweight owls at a thrift store and adore them.
