Why do you think we had children? Is is the love, the cuddles, the naked baby bellies, the laughter? |
Obviously not. Following these two on their mode of transportation into the kitchen, |
you will see the un-unionized children hard at work. |
Lola teaches Ever about keeping the butter knives toward the back, where Mommy can't get ahold of them and cut herself. |
Ever has learned her duty well. Here, she clearly disapproves of the state of this 'clean' fork. |
Love her little yellow jacket; such a cute little hipster!
My son's first word, at 8 months, was button. He shouted and pointed at a button on my sweater, "DUTTON!!!!" and then didn't speak for another four months. Kids are weird.
Oh, Maggie -- they are so sweet. That last photo of baby Ever is suffused with light -- hers and yours.
Now that's team-work! Great shots - great kids. And oh, that Ever! her eyes....
I came along this series, and this story made me think of an entree you wrote a while back about health insurance and pre-existing conditions, ect.

it's good.
I LOVE this.
Precious!
Hilarious! I was just having my boys help unload the dishwasher today, and I'm afraid we too may have some that are licked clean!
Gorgeous girls.
We too had children COMPLETELY to put them to work. And because we wanted to leave a HUGE carbon print with our big family! ;) I kid, I kid!
xo
that's funny!
You know you always hear that the baby's first words are mama or dada... Harley's was Kit Kit. (Our cat) I have to say, I was astounded and a little misplaced for a moment! But it really was hilarious.
Love those girls of yours. Boys too, but you know, this one was mostly about them.
xo
I love the look of your new site!!!
I love the baby checkered Vans (Van?) hiding under the counter in the next to last pic. :) If you're still looking for it, go there!
