Thanks for sharing some of your family legend and lore - and pictures. Your children are beautiful. Happy to note other families use crazy, wonderful nicknames too!
Lola Moon looked so chic with her baby clothes and that glasses:) This makes me smile and forget my burden for a while...And this makes me miss my family, too. Have a nice day=)
I just came from Harper Louise's first birthday party and took tons of pictures of grandkids with balloon animals on their heads so I'll have something to remind me of the days when they were tiny and adorable.
OH MY GOD!! I just met a woman by the name of Iola yesterday. My husband and I were talking about what a beautiful name it is and how you never hear it!
Thanks for the pictures! I love going back and looking at pictures of my son at all ages. We have some great ones- like all kids, he loved to dress up. Cute nicknames, too!
Heehee, that is adorable. And that song a few posts back, I had a completely crappy day today & his voice & lyrics totally calmed me. I need to thank you greatly for posting that!
what i thought love was is so much less than what it is

"Her looks fading, the vain Lispector became increasingly reclusive and demanding. Addicted to cigarettes and sleeping pills, she exhibited erratic and sometimes imperious behavior. She would call friends in the middle of the night and flee dinner parties for little apparent reason. She had a reputation for being a liar."-<em>NYT on Clarice Lispector
My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.
Some couples don’t ask much of one another after they’ve worked out the fundamentals of jobs and children. Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush

I'd laugh too. What a moment. Crazy how fast they grow, isn't it?
it always amazes me how children can bring a smile to anyone's face! Just pure and blissfully unaware of the happiness they bring :)
Oh, God. Look at those legs -- the bracelets around the tops. Is scrumptious an old-lady word? Cause that's what she is.

Just because it is really adorable!

That is one cute little chubby cheeked punkin!
A-dorable!
So sweet. I love those delicious baby legs.
Diva in the making?

That is a hilarious photo! Love it!
And aren't these the only and brightest spots?
Children.
The hair (lack of on the one, curly mess of the other)...it is too much. There's something about baby/kid hair that just gets me. So, so sweet.
You couldn't have said it better! (2nd attempt to post a comment, sorry if it repeats!)
