babs and judy

Oh such a joyous compilation of songs, and they look as though they are the dearest of friends sharing this moment regardless of the audience.
I was just about to write you in response to your beautiful and tragic fireside poem, and this new post suddenly arrived.
All of life is like this no? In the telling of our tale, we seem to taste the joy and the sorrow in equal measure.

If you just hear it, it's amazing, but seeing Judy Garland like that? She looks 30 pounds underweight. So sad she died so young. What a voice.

Cute cute CUTE! I once read that Judy Garland never thought she was pretty. I see her and hear her and I just can't believe she didn't know how absolutely beautiful she was.

Judy, in another form, was featured on my last blog post. Great minds think alike. Love this, thanks.

Fabulous -- although Judy looked beautiful and ghastly, all at once.

What a duo! Thanks for posting that Maggie May, I didn't know they'd ever sung together.

What an AWESOME find. Thanks so much for sharing it. LOVE IT LOVE IT! Two voices that I admire and make me think of my Mom. She's the one who raised me listening to both of these phenomenal voices.

I love it!

Interesting that Barbara's hair style has come back into vogue. Seems a lot of people have it!

Well, that was just F-U-N!

Thanks Maggie!
