What? I know there are a million, billion things more important than this, including the death of my beloved John Updike, but this magazine is one of the Major pleasures in my suburban life. I keep a stack on my white coffee table and when the new issue comes out I am so excited I take two hours and curl up and do nothing but eat chocolate and get inspired. Domino has inspired me creatively as a homemaker more than any other magazine. Their beautiful hard back decorating book sits on my coffee table too, filled with markers of rooms I love, colors that amaze. I'm truly bummedout.
Domino Magazine has closed.
What? I'm really shocked. It seems you can't turn a web-corner without hearing about or seeing images from Domino. I imagined Domino being around for years and years. did i mention this sucks?

I was just as shocked as you are to find out about Domino's departure from the magazine stands :-( It is such an inspirational interior magazine - one of a kind really... Am sad to see it go. R.I.P Domino
Yep, it totally sucks, big time. Country home is supposed to be folding too, it's one of the few pleasures that I afford myself on a regular basis... I want to cry...

"Her looks fading, the vain Lispector became increasingly reclusive and demanding. Addicted to cigarettes and sleeping pills, she exhibited erratic and sometimes imperious behavior. She would call friends in the middle of the night and flee dinner parties for little apparent reason. She had a reputation for being a liar."-<em>NYT on Clarice Lispector
My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.
Some couples don’t ask much of one another after they’ve worked out the fundamentals of jobs and children. Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush

R.I.P Domino
That's too bad. I think my sister-in-law was in that magazine.
That's a shame!
It's becoming an anxious time to listen to the news each and everyday with thousands losing their jobs.
That does suck. I loved Domino. Argh.
I guess I'm part of the reason for its demise. Never heard of it. My apologies.
:o( Sorry my dear, never heard of it. If you need to talk, I'm around... lol.
I love it too!
Everything is closing, it seems.
it's weird.
Heart-broken.
