Oh man, arranging art work scares me! Putting things on walls scare me! I know what to put on the ground, but the walls, ahhhh! Thanks for some inspiration!!!
Hi Maggie, I love all these decor arrangements..I was searching for living room inspiration nowadays..and seeing all these in your blog makes my heart jump with joy! Thanks for coming to my plain blog!
I really love the image with all of the portraits of people above the white couch. Strangely, my local wine store has a great collection of portraits like this on their walls--so beautiful. Ah, ft greene!
That One Girl - I"m doing good :) Spent the last few hours running fun errands with Dakota, I love spending mellow time with him alone where we can just hang out. :) How bout you?
Why, this just suits my mood so perfectly I can't believe it. Will finish my prolonged painting project in the kitchen-office this coming week because I've decided I don't like the color I selected, and I intend to buy frothy white with the intention of hanging neat stuff on the office walls! ....And looking at these is a nice rest for "Olympic-eyes." I know I've viewed too much when I take to the slopes in my dreams, and show up at the apres ski party in jeans when everyone else is dressy and I feel like a slob.... and, well back to sleep.
I find it so hard to get frames up on a wall. I like lots of them on a large wall, my plan is to do this one wall...I buy the frames and then they sit in a closet ...oh and then choosing which prints to put in which size frame...so challenging to get started...but I do look forward to doing this sooner rather than a year from now. Thanks for the inspiring photos to guide me.

"Her looks fading, the vain Lispector became increasingly reclusive and demanding. Addicted to cigarettes and sleeping pills, she exhibited erratic and sometimes imperious behavior. She would call friends in the middle of the night and flee dinner parties for little apparent reason. She had a reputation for being a liar."-<em>NYT on Clarice Lispector
My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.
Some couples don’t ask much of one another after they’ve worked out the fundamentals of jobs and children. Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush

Oh I like! I just rearranged the lay-out of my flat today, and I changed up the art arrangements. It looks different for sure!
I like. I think it is about being fearless and just doing what you like.
Art can really stand out anyhow you arrange it. The more the merrier. xo

How'd it be to live in such a place as these" Too much vogue living for me perhaps, but they look wonderful from here.
Thanks, Maggie for showing us how some people decorate their rooms.

Thank you for the inspiration. I have been wanting to do something like this for a while, now I think I will.

fantastic! I love groupings and "gallery" hangings of art in the home. I try to do that at my place.
