Oh she's beautiful Maggie...and so are you!! I've just read your last post and am so very thankful that you're feeling better...you are a rock yourself, even if you don't feel like one, a lovely soul is a strong soul, and you have a lovely soul. May Ever's pureness, innocence, and angelic sweet spirit continue to bring light to your heart. Congratulations, Blessings and Love, Jessica
Oh my word! Ever is so beautiful and you look amazing. Congratulations and you keep doing what you need to do because a happy, healthy mom is what all the kids need, most of all Ever.
Hi Maggie, You and Ever are absolutely beautiful. You are glowing. I am so glad you are feeling better. I knew you would feel better. Thank you for the photographs!
I am so happy to see you feeling better. look at your noses! but she looks like Mr. Curry through the eyes, yes?! I could be off, but I can see you both in her already! I wish you much peace and rest and nesty goodness in the coming days. Thanks for sharing! Leel
Glad you are feeling better, be gentle to yourself, allow a wide berth between yourself and the world, if anything, hesitate (I beg you) to throw yourself back into the world again. Babymooning can be bliss. (I didn't leave my bedroom after homebirthing my twins fro 2 weeks, not even to my own kitchen. It helped.)
You are a warrior woman, amazing in every way, birth reopens you, and you are raw with beauty, birth, your new story unfolding in moments around you. Soak, breathe, hope.
(I don't get people who don't get scared when they have a newborn. Not saying you should be, just - be easy on yourself. The first month I never sleep because I'm always checking their breathing. Give yourself time...)
Yay for feeling better! If you want any free coaching, just say so. Actually coaching doesn't involve instruction, it's more like simply listening to the person...and being supportive. I will listen anytime if you need.
You are both so beautiful! And that outfit she has on... just precious. I hate to use all the same over used "cutie patootie" terminology, but when it comes to the wee ones, sometimes nothing else will do it seems.

Hey Maggie! Congratulations! I read your blog from time to time and, much to my own surprise, it makes me warm-up to the idea of having a family of my own one day. Most people are unable to be honest about how confusing and heartbreaking endavour it can be. But the stories you share feel very honest, real and uplifting somehow. My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.

Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush
