Glad you are feeling better, be gentle to yourself, allow a wide berth between yourself and the world, if anything, hesitate (I beg you) to throw yourself back into the world again. Babymooning can be bliss. (I didn't leave my bedroom after homebirthing my twins fro 2 weeks, not even to my own kitchen. It helped.)
You are a warrior woman, amazing in every way, birth reopens you, and you are raw with beauty, birth, your new story unfolding in moments around you. Soak, breathe, hope.

(I don't get people who don't get scared when they have a newborn. Not saying you should be, just - be easy on yourself. The first month I never sleep because I'm always checking their breathing. Give yourself time...)
Yay for feeling better! If you want any free coaching, just say so. Actually coaching doesn't involve instruction, it's more like simply listening to the person...and being supportive. I will listen anytime if you need.
You are both so beautiful! And that outfit she has on... just precious. I hate to use all the same over used "cutie patootie" terminology, but when it comes to the wee ones, sometimes nothing else will do it seems.

Hey Maggie! Congratulations! I read your blog from time to time and, much to my own surprise, it makes me warm-up to the idea of having a family of my own one day. Most people are unable to be honest about how confusing and heartbreaking endavour it can be.
But the stories you share feel very honest, real and uplifting somehow.
