Flux Capacitor's First Giveaway!!

Congratulations Shana!!! Contact me at beezus74@hotmail.com and we will get you started :)

I am really happy to be able to give something wonderful away to my blogging community
. I've been offered many trades and giveaways before but I refused, simply because the products weren't anything I was interested in using or owning. When I was offered an exchange with EasyCanvasPrints.com I was thrilled, because anyone who reads here knows I take a lot of pictures! The idea of a wonderful photo made into an art quality canvas to hang made me happy. :) I have a nice little collection of selected photos that are all very special to me, and it was hard to pick just one to use, but I knew that I couldn't pick one of just Ever ( ...big sissy might not feel great about that ) and I also knew the boys....could give a rats arse. So I chose this:

And am in love with it. This is a photo from ee's sixth month shoot, and I hung it in our hallway by the front door, where it looks wonderful.

The process of picking an image and a canvas style was so much fun, like paper dolls for photos! You upload an image, and then through easycanvasprints.com you pick the details- the size, the thickness of the canvas, the style of the sides ( I picked a color border- blue- to match the blue in the girl's clothes and eyes, but you can also pick mirror image, wrap, etc ) and then see a mock hanging of your canvas before you commit. The software is excellent and the site is incredibly easy to navigate.

They also have an Idea Gallery to help you narrow your choices and decide on the best photo for your canvas.

I am giving away one free 8x10 canvas to the winner of this giveaway:)

The contest is simple: Leave a comment about what picture you think you might use. ( No commitment, use whatever you like if you win, it's just fun! ) Then 'like' their Facebook page. I'll pick a random commenter with the random picker thingy online. ( ??? what?? ) No family! No more than one comment!
Giveaway closed on Monday Night at 8pm!!!

Good luck!

Oh! I would probably pick a photo that I took of my hallway and our dog Valentine at the end. There's something about it that appeals to me and I have so many large photos of my kids already! Thanks for the opportunity, and I'm off to "like" --

I would love to have a canvas print of a portrait I had done with my late, great house rabbit Martin, who was with me through 3 states and 12.5 years. Thank you, Maggie!

I have a picture of my boys snuggling on the front lawn when my youngest was about 6 months. Cutest. Picture. Ever. And probably the one I'd use.

I have a family photo from 12 years ago when Carlie was a baby that is hysterial. Two of the kids are making horrible faces, the baby has the deer in the headlights look, my oldest was going thru her "awkard" phase, and I had everyone in coordinating outfits. AWESOME. It is my favorite photoof all time. I love yours of your girls and the comments about how much the boys would care... so freaking true!

I am hoping to stage a huge family-of-choice photo shoot this summer, sometime very soon. I would love to be able to use a photo from that shoot to honor my tribe.

I would, without a doubt, print this photo:

It's from a year ago, but I've been dying to get a decent print of it. My handsome little man!

I just took a pic of a little blue play house that I saw on one of my morning hikes. It's nothing special but seeing it makes me smile!

I've been wanting to try one of these! I have a silhouette photo of all my boys at a local lake last summer at sunset that I think would be great on canvas.

What a good idea! I would get a print of a rare whole-family photo, of my family that is all scattered around now: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4148/5211245283_61411bb37b.jpg

cute choice!

i think i would pick this picture of jon and i from our 'engagement photo' session where we are drenched in almost-sunset-sunlight and its just pretty dreamy. it deserves better than just a flat photo.

I think I would choose the picture of my son sitting in a pampers box with diapers all around him. It would make a good canvas!

This is such a wonderful idea! My daughter is getting married the end of August and a picture of her and her brother before would be an excellent picture to have on the wall! I am a pictureholic :)

I have a picture of my best friend going into the water on a deserted beach in Mexico. She had been going through some rough times when we took a vacation together and said it was the happiest she'd been in a long while. I'd pick that one, and give it to her, so she could remember.

I missed it! :( I was here the other day and read this but then got distracted by the chirruns and didn't have a chance to comment. Oh well, says the Mama. Another day! ;)

p.s. I would have used a photo of my girls in fairy wings we made from paper. This is an AWESOME idea, by the way.
