I'll keep that in mind :)
xoxoxo
That's the best dating advice I ever read.
cute:) i'll remember that:)
Indeed!!! I don't trust people who have no books. My greatest accomplishment to date was passing along my love of reading to my 2 daughters and my 3 grandchildren. They're all bookaholics, thank God!

"I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves." ~Anna Quindlen
Honestly, the main reason ereaders make me sad is the loss of one of my favorite activities: snooping around the bookshelves in other people's homes. Thumbing through their Kindle just does not provide the same satisfaction.
I just found out he is coming to Tucson in December and putting on a Christmas show. I'm debating shelling out $101 for VIP tickets to meet him. How could you not want to meet the man behind these words of wisdom?!
*LOVE*
love that... :)
Hi Maggie,
I've seen that somewhere before, and it makes me laugh. I think it's quite true! And I appreciate jenna's comment about kindles. What a loss for all of us, not to see what our friends and acquaintances are reading. I have books piled in every room of my house, on bookshelves, tables, and on the floor, some arranged artfully, but many, just in stacks. Books tell us a lot about a person, and whether they are someone we'd like to know better.
YESSSSSS! Love John Waters.
Well said/written, I couldn't agree more....
Hi there,
this is so funny...
thanks for the quote, definitely truth in the point...
Jesse
Sound advice. I love it.
Infuckingdeed.
word verification: hemen. Yes, really.
HA! Ain't that the TRUTH!
Word, my friend. Word.
be careful taking advice from john waters. it sounds good at first but eventually you'll be doing really weird stuff on film.
Great!
I came here to talk about Kindles too. And to say the same thing Jenna said. It's like what iPods and digital music did to record/tape/cd collections. So sad.
My husband and I noticed tonight on Star Trek that they didn't have Kindles. They had leather bound books. All that technology and they wanted quiet time, with their minds, and a book.
Ha! Love it - my kind of mottor :)
