lol, moms are supposed to make their children do things they aren't stoked about - they'll look back with fond memories of the family time together, at least i do. :)

thanks for the comment on my post the other day - i need all the encouragement I can get some days!

random, but I watched back to the future 1,2, and 3 last weekend, and it cracks me up that it made me think of you. :)

Ah yes. The mean, mean mother. I can see it in your face.

You look so amazing! What beautiful photos (even of the disgruntled 16 year old)!

They may not enjoy it but the fact that they do it for you speaks volumes. Looks like a fun time.

Great post! Love all the photos, and you look so beautiful and happy.

I remember feeling like Dakota looks when I was sixteen at family outings. I just wanted to hang with my friends.

And yet, they will all remember it fondly. That's part of what makes mothering so much fun, no? Glad you had a good day. You look glowy and stunning, darling.

Love the honesty about the rampant picture taking that us mamas are oft insistent on. How else could generations look back and remember? (And someday, he may thank you...)

Hi Maggie! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. My daughter is called Aggie, short for Agatha.

Looking at these pictures and your captions, I'm in awe of what it must be like to be having a baby and a 16 year old. Aggie's our first and my husband and I joke about what she'll be like as a teenager. But we don't know, don't really have any idea. And I know each kid is different, but still - you have the whole spectrum at one time.

I want to ask something here but I'm just not sure what. I'm excited to keep reading.
