new haircut from a mom at my preschool feathers in her hair true love texting on mom's Blackberry at Wendy's Ever asleep with her Ungee- the bunny her sister bought her before she was born looking at crime novels with Daddy the Borders I've taken my children to for 16 years is closing i actually cried our house is Beyond Thunderdome goodnight, Everkins
I love all of these photos -- I really love Lola's new haircut! She looks hip and sweet at once! And I'm so sorry, too, about bookstores closing. I feel as if I'm a little to blame as I use Amazon so much to buy books, or I go to a small, independent bookstore in my neighborhood.
a visit here reminds me of a an attic in this beautiful wooden house. peeking into hidden boxes and corners i keep finding little treasures everywhere.
Aw, I know, all the Borders are closing. I have to admit though, if I had to choose a bookstore, I'd choose B&N but that's because they've always always always had the books I'm looking for in stock. Borders really is more family friendly, but it's always out of stuff. :( Sad.
I love the nickname Everkins too. It reminds me somehow of the movie Willow, which I love.
Sorry about your Borders. If ours closed, I would most certainly cry. Yes I would. It's been a refuge/safe haven and all around great place to be for me and mine for as long as i can remember. My sympathies. xo
what i thought love was is so much less than what it is

"Her looks fading, the vain Lispector became increasingly reclusive and demanding. Addicted to cigarettes and sleeping pills, she exhibited erratic and sometimes imperious behavior. She would call friends in the middle of the night and flee dinner parties for little apparent reason. She had a reputation for being a liar."-<em>NYT on Clarice Lispector
My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.
Some couples don’t ask much of one another after they’ve worked out the fundamentals of jobs and children. Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush
Lola's new haircut is gorgeous. I can't believe how fast Ms. Ever is growing. Your family is so beautiful, Maggie.
Love & Blessings,

My Borders is closing too! Now I don't have anywhere to escape to on my lunch break. ::tears::
I love all of these pictures. Beautiful shots of a beautiful family life.
Of all things in the world that has to close--a bookstore is the saddest of them all.
Lola's new haircut rocks!!!!
Beauties, every one of you. (Matt and I have the worst fights with a crying baby jangling every last nerve as well.)
The hair cut is lovely, the feathers are so pretty. The last photo is stunning. x
