After years of being an "Independent" (whatever that means anymore) I voted for Obama, one of the first Democrats I had voted for in years. Have you heard his new "car in the ditch" analogy? Regardless of political views, everyone has to admit he's a brilliant politician.
Must add--I think Michelle would be a pretty awesome president too.

Love Ellen, Love Obama-wish people would give him a break-all the crises he has had to deal with.
Marion I know what you mean, but it's not that he is flashy..it's that he is the first president that feels BALANCED- like he's human, he laughs, he dances, he throws attitude, but he is also incredibly focused, moral, intelligent and serious. it doesn't feel like he's flying away with his ego like Clinton or suffering under blinders like Bush.

I did not vote for him. However, all the 'haters' seem to have a very very short memory...
