Tattoo

Do you want to see my tattoos? Of course you do! Now, no, the one on the right isn't a giant ball. And it's not a sea creature, either. How rude. It's clearly the design of a 17 year old girl getting her first tattoo. Oh, now you get it. The star has Cody and Lola written in it, because we used to call Dakota Cody a lot, and now we don't at all. Ian isn't on there yet. What am I going to do when we have one more?

Wow! You are so much braver than me. I've always been afraid to get a tattoo--even though I like them.

I love your ink! It's totally beautiful. I'm a wuss. I'm also to fickle. I would regret a tatoo the minute I sat down in that chair. I did get my belly button pierced along with every other 15 year old girl who worshipped Britney Spears. Let me clarify: I was 30 years old and so NOT into Britney Spears.

I found your blog when I was reading about Camille's bracelet on "A Daily Scoop." What wonderful, amazing writing on your blog. I am truly inspired to get back into reading. I agree that the best learning comes from other's stories, lives, experiences...yes even fictional stories like you explained. That's why I love, "A Daily Scoop" and also your posts I just read. After reading how you breastfed, and kept your baby close and honored him, I learn more about being a good mother. I am so impressed. It is heart breaking and sad for me to think about any child living with fear, especially from the ones who are intended to give the deepest of love and protection. You are amazing to turn that around and be a force for good in your children's and other's lives.
I'm glad I blog hopped by, I'll have to again soon :).

carolina and jen- i was afraid. very afraid! but my husband went with me, and it helped tremendously to have him there. i love the star, with my children's names, could do without the scary sea creature thing but oh well ;)

lindsay i'm so glad you feel you could learn anything from what i write about parenting! it's wonderful to hear a mom with an open, searching mind because i believe that is such a gift we can give our children: to learn, to grow, to be open to ideas. of course in the end we have to go with our gut! i'll come visit your page. :)

I like the "scales" design on the star.
