It is because of this blog that I have been able to doggedly and persistently attempt to turn my writing into something more closely resembling a career, and I am thanking all of you most sincerely for coming here and reading what I write, and for (mostly:) keeping up your own blogs so I can continue to learn about your lives and read your writings.
A big shout out to the awesome GIGGLE, the book's sponsor. Their clothes and toys are really, really cute. One of my favorite baby shower gifts for Ever came from Giggle- a pink and orange striped footy sleeper.

That is AWESOME!!! I'm SO going to be downloading that to my kindle now!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Can't wait to see it!!! Congratulations - and here's to many more published pieces.
Congratulations! I just downloaded the kindle version to my iPad and I'm looking forward to reading it in the carpool line later on today. As a mom who works from home, I often feel caught in the middle of the working-versus-stay-home-mom debate, able to see both sides but not quite fitting into either camp. I'm looking forward to seeing how other moms are attempting to strike that delicate balance between the demands of parenting and the need to nourish one's own personal soul.
Thanks for visiting me at Cheeky Cognoscenti, by the way. More hugs right back at you!
Glad to be in there with you! Looking forward to reading your piece.
Congratulations, Maggie! I'm happy your writing is becoming known in many ways. You're an excellent writer and you deserve publication!
Huzzah.
Maggie, I bought the book on Barnes and noble and downloaded NOOk for Macs and then it took me a few days to figure out how to open my newly downloaded application. I may have tenacity--but I'm perhaps not always the sharpest tack in the drawer ;) Anyway--FINALLY I read the book!
...just wanted to stop back by and say that I read your essay with TEARS streaming down my face at the ending.
Yes--the endings of those sentences ARE what matters most. I LOVED your essay. LOVED it.
