Link-luster

my friend Dena as photographed by Mark Hollinger

Cutest baby costume or most disturbing? Hm.

Attending this rally would be awesome. Thousands and thousands are there! I'll have to be content with watching from afar.

Ever considered giving up deodorant, showering a lot less or not at all; using lemon to get rid of your stinky pits? A new group of unwashed adults agree.

Which
Glee kid is your kid going to be like? Take the quiz

James Franco is an author? Yes, he just released a short story collection. And word is, it's pretty good.

One of the most amazing and freaky nature photographs I've ever seen.

I think the baby costume is cute. People put naked babies in old washtubs and I think that is a bit disturbing because of the nudity (I know.....I'm too conservative when it comes to nudity)

I have a little thing for James Franco... I might have to read his stories...

I am checking in to see if you have had that baby yet. i am woefully behind on visiting my favorite places, so I had to read back a few. 35 weeks, then? And constant bladder pressure? Bless you. How sweet the day will be!

the rally was terrific although very crowded...I'm used to rallies but apparently a lot of people aren't as they didn't know where to go/how to leave when done. Dude, get off my feet (that was a refrain...said nicely by many a person. OK, me.)

I am p'o-ed by the tiny bit of coverage I've seen so far (I just got in a bit ago)...seems that Luke Russert of MSNBC thought everyone was within 19-32 years of age & white.

Uh. No. Much more varied. I wonder if someone that age just does not notice anyone over age 32.

Will report in more when I can. Hope you're feeling OK.

BTW, James Franco also has an art exhibit going on in NYC. I say he needs to take it down a notch. (sort of kidding)

Love the photograph here...

I was at the rally this afternoon. It was a real treat, especially the Yusuf and Ozzy doing the train medley. It was an amazing experience to have that many people there and nobody was angry, nobody felt a need to carry guns, everyone was there to enjoy a day of being there and enjoying good music and a shared appreciation for wanting civility and reason to replace anger and hatred. Other than the sunburn, it was a great time.

I say the costume is cute! Babies love to be snuggled tight, right?

That spider may enter my dreams. Sick.

Have a great weekend!

I am all for any event that helps restore sanity . . . especially if it makes me laugh! (Perhaps laughter IS the only way to restore sanity?) In that vein, then, I guess that a baby lobster in a pot is funny . . . but it's definitely a little bit OUCHy, too.

All great things, except for that spider....shudder. I'm so sad for the bird and gecko.

The baby costumes is hysterical.
