I love him. I love that Zebras, horses and donkeys can all breed with one another. Reminds me of those flip books when we were kids where you could match the various animal bodies to make up your own animal. Plus it seems like the great equalizer of the animal kingdom.
My research shows that there are really zonkeys, as well as zorses. However I think that the photo looks photoshopped. The donkey looks weird, and I don't see a shadow coming off of the front right leg. Someone may have taken three photos and blended them into one for effect, to show what makes up a zonkey. Very cute though. Try Googling "zorse". Really cool!
If you copy and paste this picture into MS Paint and zoom-in on the legs in a progressive manner, you will see that it is a doctored photo. The edges are too sharp and go several pixels in a row straight and at 45 degrees on the back legs.
I've been off the radar for a while. I'm now trying to catch up with some of my favorite blogs. I'm so sorry to hear about your financial distress. It's so sad and distressing to see that that medical bills and taxes have brought you to your situation.

I believe that you will ultimately have a best-selling novel and your debt will be a thing of the past. Seriously, you are so talented!!

My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.
Some couples don’t ask much of one another after they’ve worked out the fundamentals of jobs and children. Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush

"His name is Zonkey, and HE HAS NO GUILT. Fake or not, at least he doesn't have a creepy flash gravatar."
Incredible. Is this photoshopped...or found @ the San Diego Wild Animal Park? I almost believe it...
