That looks like a nifty idea! Combo rocking chair and cradle... You can just imagine reading a babe's bed time story in it... with a patchwork quilt over your knees!
Man -- that's fantastic. I wish I could have a fourth baby and get that -- but since I'm 47 and already insane enough, I'll pass. If you want it, though, should we all pitch in and get it for you? A virtual baby shower, perhaps?
And then when she outgrows it you fill it up with books and take it by the fireplace and the world will be right and all in it. And later on when she has her own dolly she will rock her there and you will smile and the world will be right and all in it. Let's buy it. I want one to rock the puppies when I am reading.

Someone may have stolen your dream when it was young and fresh and you were innocent. Anger is natural. Grief is appropriate. Healing is mandatory. Restoration is possible. -Jane Rubietta

"Her looks fading, the vain Lispector became increasingly reclusive and demanding. Addicted to cigarettes and sleeping pills, she exhibited erratic and sometimes imperious behavior. She would call friends in the middle of the night and flee dinner parties for little apparent reason. She had a reputation for being a liar."-<em>NYT on Clarice Lispector
My dear child, who can tell? One can only tell that, by remembering something which happened where we lived before; and as we remember nothing, we know nothing about it; and no book, and no man, can ever tell us certainly.
Some couples don’t ask much of one another after they’ve worked out the fundamentals of jobs and children. Some live separate intellectual and cultural lives, and survive, but the most intense, most fulfilling marriages need, I think, to struggle toward some kind of ideological convergence. Norman Rush

I wonder about the attached seat? Both hard and seemingly wonderful. A good way to rock the baby, even if a little hard on the back and behind.
That might be the sweetest piece of baby furniture I have ever seen.
Of utilitarian beauty...and it is even green-pea-color!
Now that is one cool invention.
Almost makes me want to have another little one to rock. Well spotted Maggie may!!
wow! i love this! where do i order?
One of those lovely baby-things you would need for maybe two months. Maybe.
But it would be sweet when you needed it.
How perfect is this? I am so in love! Why have I not even seen or thought of this before?
Now how ingenious is this? And when biggie pea grows up, you can stack books in there for reading while rocking!
simple and simply beautiful! specially because I am addicted to greens ;)
Swooning over here.
Where the heck was that when my kids were babies! That rocks! (oops, no pun intended.)
Whoa! That is pure genius~!

That is charming.
